A Message from Mason

Hello all! Thank you for stopping by. Hope you’re all doing well. This blog will be my little area where you can get to know me in a more personal way. Sometimes I may share what’s going on in my life, or I may write about a movie or… I don’t know. (Psst! I’ve never written a blog before so I’ll just sort of figure it out as I go along). Anyway, I thought I’d start off by sharing a little bit more about me for this first post. I’m 19, a homeschooler, bookworm, writer and, of course, a musician.

I love mystery novels, epic sci-fi and fantasy stories and occasionally nonfiction. You can usually find me curled up in the big, brown chair in our den with a book and a sleeve of Zesta saltines.

I’m also a writer. Currently I’m working on a children’s sci-fi/fantasy novel called ‘Of Skrient and Survival’. It’s my dream to get this book published and possibly begin a series. I love creating music to go along with my stories, in order to set the mood and convey what’s going on in the story. If you listened to Tutty’s Theme on my Discography, that song actually gives you a musical idea of what my character, Tutty, is like. (His famous quote is “Tutty ho!” which means a variety of things from ‘Hello’ to ‘Goodbye’ and everything in between!)

I love animals and I have 3 goats (Abbie, Gracie, and Ellie), several different birds (Finches and parrots), and a dog named Adele. When the weather is good and I’m not doing school, then I will normally be outside, either in the goat pen, Enoing with my goats (they actually get in the Eno with me), or playing tennis.
